The European Association of Taiwan Studies (EATS) is delighted to announce the call for applications to its Workshop Grant. Proposals aimed at organising workshops about, related to, or compare Taiwan in any fields of humanities and social sciences, as well as multi-\/interdisciplinary fields are welcome to apply. This funding is available up to \u20ac1,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is a prerequisite to acquire EATS membership for this application. Information about EATS membership and benefits can be found at https:\/\/www.eats-taiwan.eu\/about-us\/how-to-become-a-member<\/a>. Please visit EATS website (https:\/\/www.eats-taiwan.eu\/register<\/a>) for membership registration. Current EATS Board Members are not eligible for this application.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evaluation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Applications are evaluated according to the following criteria.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Originality, significance and contribution to Taiwan Studies<\/span>
\n\u2022 Soundness or innovation of topics<\/span>
\n\u2022 Feasibility of workshop design<\/span><\/p>\n

Application Procedure and Final Reports<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Abstract (150 words)<\/span>
\n\u2022 Workshop proposal (not more than two A-4 pages, excluding bibliography\/references)<\/span>
\n\u2022 Curriculum Vitae of the applicant<\/span>
\n\u2022 Detailed Budget of the proposal to be listed in Euro<\/span><\/p>\n

Document Styling is to be in Times New Roman, size twelve, 1.5 spacing, and page numbered.<\/span><\/p>\n

Application Procedure and Workshop Report<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Applications are submitted by email to info@eats-taiwan.eu with the subject as Application to EATS Workshop Grant. The deadline for submission is 30th June 2019<\/span>. The result of the applications is expected to be announced around 15th July 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

Acknowledgement<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Due acknowledgment of the support received from EATS should be made in any publication resulting from the workshop. EATS support must be acknowledged in the workshop\u2019s poster, website etc. ATS will publicise on its website, and through EATS Newsletter, the awardees and the content of the workshop.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
