National Taiwan Normal University’s Department of Taiwanese Language and Literature has reached its 20th anniversary since its establishment. Since its inception as a master’s and doctoral program in 2003, the department has expanded to include undergraduate studies and has become a cornerstone for nurturing indigenous language teachers in recent years. All of this has been achieved through the dedicated efforts of many teachers and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To commemorate this significant milestone, the International Taiwan Studies Center (ITSC) is organizing a lecture event. It will feature discussions with past department heads and current faculty members from the Department of Taiwanese Language and Literature. They will share their experiences and the journey of establishing the department, aiming to pass on the pioneering spirit of Taiwan studies and provide mutual inspiration through this event. We welcome all teachers and students to participate in this grand celebration!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
