About the Event:
We will be savoring “Beef Noodles”, a short story written by the acclaimed Taiwanese author Shih Shu-tuan \u65bd\u6dd1\u7aef, whose pen name is Li Ang \u674e\u6602. We hope this gathering will be a lively group discussion that delves into a narrative set during the White Terror, allowing us to explore the complex political, cultural and historical themes on Taiwanese identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
