計畫簡介：
The purpose of this proposal is to further the consolidation of Taiwan Studies in Europe, through the cooperation of Taiwan Studies departments and centers. Within this framework, The International Taiwan Studies Center (ITSC)’s main project partner in Europe is Masaryk University located in Brno, Czech Republic. We propose the organization of two workshops at both universities and the establishment of e-learning courses that focus on Taiwan Studies. The aim is to create a platform through workshop and e-learning based on the latest developments in internationalization in higher education.
We aim to create a platform that is both beneficial to faculty and students, taking into account the vast differences & challenges – structural and cultural – that come along with internationalization in higher learning. The expected outcomes of the e-learning course piloting combined with the workshop activities is to accommodate to existing challenges through a fully functional e-learning platform which can address the needs of different groups of students.We are confident that these academic activities will enrich the cultural understanding of European students about Taiwan and deliver a deserved visibility to Taiwan Studies, preparing the stage for future cooperation with secondary partners.
