Michelle Kuo 講者介紹

Michelle Kuo is a writer, attorney, visiting associate professor at the International College of Innovation at National Chengchi University, and editor-in-chief of Books from Taiwan in children’s and comic books. She is the author of Reading with Patrick (Random House, 2017),a runner-up for the Dayton Literary Peace Prize and Goddard Riverside Stephan Russo Book Prize for Social Justice. It has been released in the  U.S., U.K., Taiwan, Korea, and Japan. Her work has appeared in New York Review of BooksThe GuardianThe New York TimesParis Review, and Public Books. Based in Taipei, she co-writes a newsletter called A Broad and Ample Road. Previously, she was a public interest attorney, working on behalf of undocumented immigrants, incarcerated people, and immigrants in detention. She is a longtime prison educator.
